Inspired by the Covid pandemic and the future. The design evokes the idea of social distancing. I was inspired by insects and their protective shells and their resistance to disease. Painted plastic beetles, and bejeweled with Swarovski crystals. As well as a liquid gel panel to create more movement through the garment.
